Conscious Communication is simply being aware of your communication style(s) and implementing them into your interactions with others.
Often times, past trauma dictates communication styles due to the trauma responses stuck in the nervous system. Learning different communication tactics and styles is imperative to a persons healing journey.
Think of it like this- if you look at a person as a "whole person", when you remove a significant piece from that person, i.e. a leg, arm, hand, foot; they will have to relearn how to function in a more conscious way, not relying on what isn't there anymore.
It is the same thing when you start to heal trauma.
You are taking a significant piece of yourself away. Learning how to consciously function in your new state of being allows emotional and psychological growth, quite possibly leading to a happier life.
